What’s on the UK’s educational agenda now we’re into April?

By now you may already know which school your child has been offered a place at. However, things will move fast now so you need to start preparing if you haven’t done so already.

Whether your child is going to be taking the 11+ or 13+ Common Entrance exam in May, or you are an overseas applicant sitting external exams, you may feel that extra tuition is needed for that final push. English, maths, general science, verbal and non-verbal reasoning are the papers your child may be asked to sit.

One new and exciting online learning platform to look at is www.atomlearning.co.uk which has been designed for ISEB Common Pre-tests, 11+, and school-specific examinations. Atom are currently offering a 5 day free trial and if you choose to continue, you will receive a 10% discount on your first payment by using code EJ41yZHS.

If you haven’t done so already, it’s a good time to arrange a visit to your child’s school in either the Spring or Summer term. Bear in mind that from the end of March until the third week in April is the Easter break however so you might have to wait until the last week in April to firm up on your plans. Overseas parents might also be considering investing in a UK home, so whist in the country, you could start to narrow down on the areas and the type of accommodation that will suit your needs.

We provide a tailor-made tutoring and property services to overseas families so get in touch if you need any assistance along the way.
