We have always whole-heartedly supported the work that goes into all the amazing partnerships between independent and state schools.
Independent schools and state schools partnerships, outreach programmes and more
Independent schools have been developing partnerships with state schools for many years. Spreading educational opportunity, initiatives and wellbeing for teachers as well as children. This was stepped up in the pandemic with virtual collaborations being embraced and outreach programmes also being set up to provide support such as meals and vaccinations in local communities.
The collaborations are as varied as they are diverse. From summer courses, exam preparation, academic support, sharing sports facilities as well as the sharing of confidence, leadership and organisational skills. And much, much more.
ISC Celebrating Partnerships 2021 Report
At the beginning of the week we were honoured to be invited to the launch of the ISC Celebrating Partnerships 2021 Report at the House of Lords. The report highlights all the incredible partner activities. Many thanks to Andrew Lewer, Conservative MP for Northampton South, for inviting us to the event. The speakers were all inspirational. And thank you to all those leading the way in independent and state education; breaking down the barriers between different types of schools and benefitting both staff and pupils. We applaud you.
