We visited the Gulf Region the other week for the Middle East Family Office Investment Summit. Always an amazing event with talks on science, engineering, business and education; looking at projects to improve life opportunities for young people in the UAE. It was also our chance to catch up with schools there we know – as well as schools we haven’t visited before. See our videos below.
King Faisal School, Riyadh
We had a warm welcome from King Faisal School in Riyadh for what was our second visit (see top photo). KFS fosters respect for Arab Islamic heritage while embracing an international perspective. Such a fantastic school. We took the opportunity to talk about the benefits of their students attending Summer Courses in the UK next year for entrepreneurship, international relations, Mini MBA, pre-university preparation and STEM, as well as having the opportunity to meet other students from all over the world.
Swiss International Scientific School, Dubai
Next stop after Riyadh was Dubai. We visited the incredible Swiss International Scientific School there. We love this school, it has amazing diversity and offers the IBDP and IBCP. It is one of only two schools that offer boarding in Dubai. And oh the boarding facilities.. ! They were second to none.
Nord Anglia International School
The last school we had the pleasure of visiting in Dubai was the one of the flagship schools there, Nord Anglia International School. They have incredible facilities including their brand new upcoming 6th form centre, they offer IGCEs, IB programmes and also now A Levels.
With many thanks to all schools for their time. We’re looking forward to our next visit!
